Thermal Imaging
Our remote control blimps can scan very large areas at a tremendous cost advantage over helicopters. These giant RC blimps can carry a multitude of video, infrared photography, thermal imaging and photography packages. The RC blimps and their various imaging packages work day or night to locate the human, animal or inanimate search targets you need to find.
Surveillance Blimps
Military Search Blimps can scan border areas and rough country for security threats. Our RC blimps are extremely quiet in operation and can locate incursions at night with thermal imaging equipment without being detected. Borders can be made more secure than ever. Remote control blimps can handle any kind of terrain - from 1,000 feet up you can scan forests, mountainsides, marshes and other types of terrain difficult to control from the ground. Search and border teams can extend their terrain scan capability far beyond that normally achievable. Our giant search blimps have 3 big advantages:
- Search teams do not need heavy vehicles or aircraft. Light vehicles can be used, but you still get wide terrain scan capability.
- The cost advantages over aircraft are massive. The purchase and running cost of a blimp is a tiny fraction of that for a helicopter.
- Everyone for miles knows a helicopter is coming - and they dig in. No one hears a blimp until it's too late - and maybe not at all, the electric motors are very quiet compared to aircraft engines. You'll see them before they see you.

Border Patrol Blimps are the best use of your tax dollar. Most incursions take place at night, and you'd need thousands of personnel on the ground to cover a long border. Aside from minefields, there's only one way to secure your border: with patrol blimps.
At night, our super-quiet surveillance blimps cover huge areas with their thermal imaging equipment, and pick up intruders without being detected themselves. A two or three-man team can cover many miles of border. Intruders can't get past your team unless they issue everyone with refrigerated suits and take the huge cost hit that entails. With mass incursions that's impossible. You'll stop them.
Police Search Blimps can be used to find lost civilians in rough country, or fleeing perpetrators in urban or rural areas. The RC blimp will carry video equipment by day and thermal imaging equipment by night. From the elevated viewpoint of a remote-control blimp, large areas can be scanned.
Infrared imaging equipment can also be used, in order to find buried objects. From 1,000 feet up you can cover a lot more territory than ground teams.

Civil Search Blimps are used by Rescue Teams in rough country areas. For mountain and coastal work, the RC blimp can stay on-site longer than a helicopter and can get into tighter areas. Various imaging packages can be supplied, such as aerial video for daytime use and aerial thermal imaging for night use.
If your missing party is in an area with ravines, then a Search Blimp is a better choice than a helicoter.
The cost vs efficiency ratio is higher than for any other technical search method. A search team will have great mobility and can scan very large areas of inhospitable country - all at a fraction of the cost of a helicopter. The team can stay on-site all day and all night, while working efficiently. Helicopters can't.
Urban surveillance blimps are used to protect areas with potential crime issues. Using wireless video, and photography, a blimp can oversee problem areas and provide the equivalent of a manpower x10 improvement. At night, a surveillance blimp can use thermal imaging for continued protection of large areas. If your city does not have sufficient video camera facilities, make up for the shortfall with a blimp. Don't forget that, at night, a blimp's thermal imaging capability is unsurpassed.
Infrared for Archeaology
A remote control blimp can get your infrared photography package right up there where you need it. You can stay on-site for long periods and scan very large areas of ground. All sorts of height and angle combinations can be tried at leisure to get the shots you need - no worrying about the fantastic running costs of a helicopter.
Need to get another group of shots to clarify an interesting area? Then go out again and get those shots - you don't have to hire the chopper again. Sub-contract your infrared photography RC blimp out to other departments or other organisations - make a profit on the deal as well.
Security Blimps
If you need to protect a vital installation at a remote location day and night, a Security Blimp is the answer. Nobody can beat the Eye in the Sky. By day the aerial video camera pack is used; at night the thermal imaging equipment is used. Intruders can beat guards and motion sensors but they can't beat an eye 1,000 feet up that sees all. A tethered blimp or an RC blimp can be used, depending on the size of the installation.
Anti-Terrorist Blimp Operations
In remote areas overseas a blimp can be used by military units to spot entrenched and camouflaged opposing forces. You can locate, photograph, video, scan and GPS-fix the enemy forces efficiently and silently. Remember, a blimp makes no noise, unlike a helo or a drone, and can stay up there for hours if that's what you need.
This solution is especially effective for night-time operations, as you can spot enemy forces with the thermal imaging equipment but the blimp is likely to remain undetected.
We don't drop mortar shells on the opposition any more, that was good in 1914-18. These days you can send your Have A Nice Day package by another route once you've got a fix on the bandits.
