Aerial Products knows how to build a blimp. We build camera blimps for aerial photographers. We build heavy lift blimps for the military. And, of course, we build high quality advertising blimps to showcase your business, product or event. Our entire line of blimp models has unique characteristics in their construction and design to make them suitable for these different uses. Our advertising blimps are shaped to give you more advertising space, which means they are more elongated to accommodate horizontal logos and have more flat area to display your message. Our new blimp shape also takes your budget into account. Our designs now require less helium, saving you money and time.

Graphics Requirements: Vectored art works best for all graphics since they can be resized without loss of quality. Typical programs used for vectored art are Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw! and QuarkXpress. (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .cdr, with all fonts converted to curves) Rastered art will work only for digital graphics but MUST BE ACTUAL PRINTED SIZE. Anything smaller will not reproduce well. Typical programs used for rastered art are Adobe Photoshop and Paintshop Pro. (.jpg, .tif, .psd, 100dpi) Rastered art is not useable for vinyl or insignia graphics. Digital graphics are only available on white or two-toned inflatables.

Our Advertising Blimps Versus the Competition So what defines a higher quality blimp and a so-so one? First of all, it depends on the type of material used. We use 3.5 mil thick polyurethane which has excellent expansion qualities and helium retention. The other commonly used material for advertising blimps is PVC, which is thicker than polyurethane but does not have the helium retention ability that polyurethane has. The cost of helium is going up and this factor should be taken into account if you plan to purchase a PVC blimp. Buy a quality polyurethane product from Aerial Products. You can also add a nylon skin to make it more UV resistant and last longer.
